Dance Specific Training

Set Clear Goals!

Why are you reading this?

If you don’t know what “your goal” is, chances are that you lose the motivation you have right now,

This goes for everything in life, especially dance and fitness.

I’ve seen it happen way too many times during my 10+ years as a dancer and  7+ years as a personal trainer.

Goals are personal and can be subjective, like
” I want to feel more confident when dancing” or ” I want to get in shape”

But, how are you going to measure that?

Objective goals with a specific date are what me and my danceletes (dancers that I train like professional athletes) come up with together.

“I want to grow a bigger butt” becomes ” I want to squat 70kg 10 times in a row before 18th of July”

“I want to be able to dance longer ” becomes “I want to be able to dance full out for 3 Cuban salsa songs in a row and still be smooth as the ocean for one bachata straight after without taking a break during the next festival”

“I want to be a better dancer”  becomes ” I want to win a Jack and Jill competition before the end of this year”

Be Specific, Set a clear goal and Stay disciplined.

Ease out
